COACH
TOM DEVEREAUX
Tom first started coaching at Belmont Tennis Club when he was 17, after completing the Tennis Australia: Orientation to Coaching Course. At the time he was in a performance squad at Belmont and was also finishing year 12 in the Tennis Course at Kent St Senior High School. He continued coaching whilst completing his teaching degree at Murdoch University. Over the years he has coached at Higgins Park Tennis Club, Cottesloe Tennis Club and Onslow Park Tennis Club.
He first started playing tennis when he was 9 years old, and gradually increased his skills and started playing Junior Pennants. While in Year 12 he was chosen to represent WA in the Pizzey Cup tournament which was played in Canberra. Over the years he has been lucky enough to play for the Higgins Park State League team and has also won the Beverley Easter Tournament 3 times.
